QR Codes are a way to connect the user and the
library. From a simple text message to more info from a website or video,
the use of QR codes can individualize and personalize the patron visit.
This workshop will provide an overview of what Quick Response (QR) Codes are
and their general use. Information and tips will be shared around how QR
Codes can be utilized in a library setting, such as providing background
information on a book, links to websites or information on related community
events. Participants will learn how to design QR Codes to be put into
immediate use in their libraries.
